PNY XLR8 Gaming DDR5 SE and RGB Overclocked Desktop Memory Compatible with AMD EXPO™ and Intel® XMP
PNY announced today new additions to their extensive PC memory lineup. PNY XLR8 Gaming SE and RGB DDR5 Desktop Memory in speeds of 6000MHz and 6400MHz are optimized for overclocking in both Intel® and AMD environments using either Intel® XMP or the recently announced AMD EXPO™ overclocking protocol which is featured in the AMD Ryzen™ 7000 series of processors.
Latest Generation
As new generations of processors hit the market, PC users, enthusiasts and gamers are able to enjoy the benefits of further evolutions of memory and storage technology. The recently announced AMD Ryzen 7000 series of processors are equipped with many new memory features which will unlock higher levels of performance for content creators, gamers, and enthusiasts. Exciting memory features include support for DDR5, rated for a speed of 5200MHz, and a new approach for memory overclocking.
DDR5 Memory with XMP and EXPO Overclocking
Overclocking memory is a great option for getting additional performance out of a system. Previously DOCP was used to overclock memory using the same protocol as XMP to automatically set the data rate and timing on AMD motherboards. The latest AMD processors now offer EXPO, which is a new way to overclock that touts higher performance and improved stability. PNY’s XLR8 Gaming SE and RGB Desktop Memory in 6000MHz and 6400MHz will offer impressive stability with AMD systems and are also compatible with Intel via the pre-programmed XMP profiles.
